Anna: "Tournament is far from being over"
February 8, 2008
"I had mentioned a possible revenge over Mauresmo after she defeated me in the quarterfinals here last year and I'm glad I avenged that loos, but what really matters to me at this point is that the tournament is far from being over, I don't want to get carried away. After such a long match, I hope the physical impact won't be too hard to handle before my semifinal tomorrow. It's great that I won't get to play the first match scheduled tomorrow, that will leave me a little bit more time to recover. After playing Dechy, Mauresmo and now Bartoli, I almost feel like I'm competing in the French Championships here (laughs). I hope I'll finally get to play a match in which at least some of the spectators will be on my side."
Note:Anna's match against Marion Bartoli is second match of the day on Central Court. The play starts at 14pm CET
